About the Author

Born in 1983 in Dresden, Matthias Lehmann studied at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste. He was the illustrator of Claude Monet for Prestel Verlag, published zines, and appeared regularly in the Jazam comic anthology. Parallel was among the finalists for the 2018 Comic Book Prize from the Berthold Leibinger Foundation, and in 2019 he won a Ginco Award for Best Short Comic.
