Quarter leather binding in black with gilt titles to spine, some edge wear and surface scuffing, front corners and some edges through to board. 1095 numbered pages all a bit yellow, some 3 perhaps 4 ink annotations in margins but main text surprisingly clean. This is a copy of the 1881 revised edition of the 1661 authorised version. Binding is ok but remains of sellotape between front cover and end paper suggests detachment at some time. Red fabric page marker detached. Previous owners name to first blank page and publishers page dated 1882 &1893. English text on left and greek text on facing right hand page. A scarce book in any condition. Marbled end papers. Size 14 x 20.8 cm. D283. Seller Inventory # 008516
