In subsequent chapters the authors present detailed step-by-step algorithms for analysis and optimization of structures on a parallel machine based on their pioneering research performed during the second half of the 1980s. They describe special strategems for maximizing the speedup of the parallel algorithms. Implementation of the algorithms on the programming language C is discussed in detail.
