Peter DiPrima has more than 22 years of public safety experience and is a certified Paramedic and HazMat Instructor. He is the District Manager for the Holbrook Fire District. He also served as an Operational Supervisor and Training Manager for one of the largest hospital based EMS services in the New York Metropolitan Area and a Paramedic Instructor for NYC-EMS / FDNY EMS. He is a Volunteer Firefighter/Paramedic with the Lakeland Fire Department and holds numerous citations for lifesaving. Mr. DiPrima is co-author of the McGraw-Hill EMT-Basic and Paramedic books, and has published an article in JEMS about his experience and response to Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina.
