Paranormal CSI (Paperback)

Whether you are new to ghost hunting and paranormal adventures or an accomplished investigator, PARANORMAL CSI will help you to have more frequent, vivid, and longer-lasting experiences investigating sites of tragic events. Ghosts may be found everywhere but they are most likely to be discovered, and contacted, at places where death occurred suddenly under the most frightening circumstances. Ghosts may remain at a crime scene for days after the event, seeking sensitive people who will listen to their pleas for help or accept information that may lead to the capture of the perpetrator or location of a dead body. Criminals and their victims may leave imprints at the scene, as well, that can be vital clues to solving mysteries and capturing the bad guys. PARANORMAL CSI will help you to become an effective investigator without interfering with law enforcement activity. You may receive a message from the ghost of a victim that cracks the case! You may discover a clue that moves a cold case forward! PARANORMAL CSI will help you understand how to communicate with crime victims, discover imprints, locate evidence, work with police and other law enforcement investigators, and report your findings in an ethical manner.

Jeff Dwyer is the author of an 9-book series of non-fiction guides for ghost hunters published by Pelican Publishers of Gretna, LA. In addition, he has authored two textbooks dealing with paranormal topics, eighteen articles for medical journals, chapters for two medical textbooks, three novels, one hundred and fifty songs, and two screenplays for television. Born in the heart of the San Francisco Bay area, Jeff spent his early years in the small island community of Alameda where he developed a love for sailing, fishing, and local history and a fascination with the ships and airplanes of the nearby naval air station. In college, Jeff became an All-American swimmer while pursuing his interests in the medical sciences in which he earned a bachelor's degree, two Master of Science degrees, and a Ph. D. This education landed him jobs at prestigious institutions, including Duke University and the University of Southern California. Currently, Jeff works as a clinical specialist in cardiology in a large medical center. Inspiration for Jeff's writing projects comes from personal experience and keen sensitivity to the emotional and spiritual aspects of issues facing people today. Travels that include visits to 42 states have broadened his view of the myriad lifestyles and micro-cultures that comprise American society. While residing in Florida, Hawaii, Montana, and North Carolina, Jeff experienced the joys of immersing himself in some of these micro-cultures. Those experiences enable him to think outside the confines of his traditional academic education. He currently lives near the fabled Napa Valley with his wife and three children. His hobbies include gardening, flying small aircraft, swimming, mountain biking, and cooking. Jeff Dwyer is an accomplished public speaker having addressed audiences in excess of 2,000 people on a wide variety of topics ranging from paranormal phenomena to issues in medical research. He has been a frequent guest on radio and television programs in the San Francisco Bay Area and featured on popular TV shows including GHOST ADVENTURES and DESTINATION TRUTH.
