.Lovely set of two bound volumes of this second edition. Printed by W. Bowyer, for Awnsham and John Churchill, at the Black Swan in Pater-Noster-Row. 1706. Rebound in fair calfskin and decorated in the " Cambridge Style " of the 17th century i.e. sprinkled boards, double panels with a flower tool at the four outer corners and with a gold two line frame bordering both boards. Slightest marks to spine and boards otherwise a fine binding. Deckled edges to pages. Internally generally very good. Slight creasing to most pages.Some gatherings are tanned and there are slight marks. Some staining to the rear end papers of volume 2 only affecting two printed page, all text still readable. No inscriptions. Volume1 (4). map frontis, title page, dedication 6pp,eaders preface 8pp, genral preface xlviii, 720pp, index 8pp (4). Volume2.
