Bound in oversize pictorial boards and issued without a dust jacket (see images). The unpaginated contents include three-dimensional paper sculptures that pop up as you open the page, as well as some pull-out or press-out displays. In a compartment at the end are a crystal, two brass dowsing rods, picture cards (still in original shrink wrap) and a 30-page booklet. Appears to never have been used. All original contents are believed to be present. The images shown are of the actual item. Free shipping within the US. This is a large, heavy book and may require more than the standard buyer-paid postage if shipped outside the US. If the shipping cost exceeds the amount shown initially by Abe Books, we will notify the non-US buyer, who will have the option to accept or reject the purchase before it is finalized.

Review
In a sense, this magical, three-dimensional book is like a third eye, offering insight into the fascinating world of parascience. This works best for beginners, who can learn how to astral travel, try handling a dowsing rod (there's one included), or simply dabble in the art of palm reading (there's a clear, removable hand that can be overlaid on the reader's hand to discover marriage longevity or spiritual strengths). Other topics include the power of prayer as well as the scarier realms of alien abduction. Although the props and built-in toys offer a sense of play, this is a book built on scientific insight--an excellent hands-on primer into the realm of the paranormal. --Tara West
