Bain addresses the controversies surrounding not only ADHD treatment, but also the arguments regarding its definition. She acknowledges the lack of absolute solutions, the variations in cases, and the need for parental decisions. As a parent resource, Bain's book is especially thorough and well balanced in its approach, and a superb value. Recommended for all public and most undergraduate (especially community college) libraries.
