About the Author

Arthur (Andy) M. Horne, Ph.D., is Distinguished Research Professor of Counseling Psychology at the University of Georgia in Athens. He is also a coordinator of the marriage and family therapy certificate program. Coauthor of nine books and coeditor of six, Dr. Horne has published more than 100 articles on working with children, families, schools, and community agencies. He has directed several large research programs examining the reduction of aggression and violence in families and schools and has directed the Bully Prevention Program at the University of Georgia for the past decade. Jennifer L. Stoddard, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist working in a medical setting and part-time faculty in the psychology department at Augusta State University. She has worked with the Bully Busters program for six years and is a co-developer of the family bullying prevention program. Her professional areas of interest include prevention and reduction of violence and aggression in schools and families, health promotion, and the relationship between mental health and physical illness. Christopher D. Bell is currently completing his doctoral studies in counseling psychology at the University of Georgia and is a psychology intern at the Medical College of Georgia and Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He has worked with the Bully Busters program for four years and is a co-developer of the family bullying prevention program. His specific area of professional interest is working with children and their families to reduce aggression and increase psychological wellness.
