Mel distinguished himself as an artillery officer in the elite 82nd Airborne Division to include combat service in Operations Desert Storm/Desert Shield. For over two decades Mel achieved stellar results in senior leadership positions with some of the world's best in class companies including PepsiCo, Corporate Express, Newell Rubbermaid, Dell, and Brink's.
