Octavo, three volumes (255 x 180 mm.). Full contemporary publishers green cloth, gilt parrot ornamentation to boards, light wear, otherwise in good condition. With 81 hand coloured lithographs. This fabulous work on parrots was first published in parts, thirty in all, which are very rare. The bound publication was intended to include a fourth volume but it was never published.
