Limited edition numbered 18166. very good The Hudson's Bay Company governor's account of his second journey of inspection from Hudson Bay to the Pacific. Simpson was governor during the height of the Company's power, and was known for his attention to detail. Due to his administrative skills many consider his work to be a precondition for the confederation of Western and Eastern Canada.
