Item description from seller

Large partially printed folio leaf of laid paper. Approximately 7.5" x 12.5". Old folds, slightly irregular margins, near fine. The document consists of six partially printed receipts acknowledging payment from the Treasurer (printed: "Peter Colt," but crossed out with the name "A. Kingsbury" handwritten in) ".in full of my debenture, for attending the Assembly in their Session in Oct. 1793." Signed by five Assembly members: Aaron Austin, Seth Spencer, Elisha Bostwick, Angus Nickelson, and Giles Pettibone. The other is left blank but bears the initials "P.C." possibly indicating Peter Colt. Several of the signers served in the Revolutionary War, with Bostwick crossing the Delaware with Washington and participating in the Battle of Trenton.
