Ex-library Rowland Institute with stamp on front pastedown and rear pocket but otherwise clean. Cloth. Volume five (of six) in the series. A classic and still highly relevant work useful for the microscopist. PROVENANCE: The Library of The Rowland Institute, set up by Edwin Land after leaving Polaroid. The library was dispersed when the Institute left it's original location.
