Folio, 385 x 250 mm. 6 pages separated. The Barons Cremorne sold the extensive property in 1831 to a Baron de Berenger, who was a convicted fraudster whose real name was Charles Random. De Berenger converted the site into a sports facility, called The Stadium, and became a proponent of self-defence techniques. He later added the pleasure gardens and hosted a balloon ascent in 1838. His business failed in 1843 and the property sold in 1845 with James Ellis taking over the license. Obviously, the financial troubles of the business started prior to its final demise and this attempt to sell it seems not to have succeeded.
