YANNIS RITSOS (Monemvasia, 1909 - Atenas, 1990) es una de las grandes voces de la lírica del siglo XX. Perteneció a la Generación del 30 junto con el premio Nobel Yorgos Seferis. Su obra fue prohibida durante las dictaduras griegas a causa de su militancia.
