About the Author

Ian Davidson lives in Wales, where he has been for most of his life. He studied as an undergraduate and postgraduate at the University of Essex and, after working at a variety of different jobs, now teaches literature and creative writing in the School of English at the Bangor University. His poetry has been published in magazines, pamphlets, booklets and full-length collections since the early 1980s. Ian Davidson's poetry is gathered in two previous full-length collections from Shearsman, as well as several chapbooks. His critical volume 'Ideas of Space in Contemporary Poetry' was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2007.
