Quarter chocolate brown leather spine with titles in gilt and green cloth boards with titles & publisher's logo in gilt; 8vo; 85+ pages; all edge gilt; illustrated with drawings, chart plus b/w photos; limited to 250 numbered (#73) copies. A reprinting of Claflin's two grouse hunting classics: Partridge Rambles (1937) 21pp and Partridge Adventures (1951) 64pp. Tales from over 20 years experience gunning for grouse around New England and New York state. Both original works are difficult to find as is this reprint. This copy in fine condition.

Within these topics are works on trout, salmon, bass, salt water, fly fishing, fly tying, rod building, tackle catalogs and reference titles. Hunting contains works on African, Asian and North American big game; bird shooting-both upland and waterfowl; plus sporting dogs.
