When Crispin loses his backpack to joyriding barrio boys who have no idea they have stolen a small fortune in narco dollars hidden among the contents, Crispin has only thirty-six hours until his appointment in Nogales to steal back the money and make his delivery, to protect his family from being targeted as punishment for his failure.
