Item description from seller

8vo. [4] pp, single sheet folded. Loose as issued in original printed wrappers. A fine copy of a scarce Doves Press publication. One of a series of small Doves Press pamphlets, grouped alongside related pieces. "On a Passage in Julius Caesar." was Cobden-Sanderson writing publicly about a specific textual crux in the play. These were minor pamphlet productions by Cobden-Sanderson, printed in the final years of the press (c. 1913-1916) in connection with his deep engagement with Shakespearean text and punctuation. (Tidcombe "The Doves Press" DPL4).
