Roberto Lucchetti � nato a Genova, dove si � laureato in matematica. Ha sempre sostenuto di avere molto talento per la subacquea, ma alla fine si � occupato di matematica. Ha cominciato a lavorare all’universit� subito dopo la laurea e oggi � professore di Analisi al Politecnico di Milano. Ha tenuto corsi presso l’Universit� di Genova, la Statale di Milano, l’Universit� Bocconi, l’Universit� Cattolica di Brescia, l’Universit� della California (Davis), l’Universit� di Limoges. � stato visiting professor presso le Universit� di Nijmegen (Paesi Bassi), Marseille, Perpignan, Limoges (Francia), Techion di Aaifa (Israele). Si occupa di analisi non-lineare e ottimizzazione, teoria dei giochi.
