About the Author
The Professor, the Pastor and the Practitioner came together to write this book with focused goals. Our unified heart was to create a practical reference guide for the pastor to bring awareness, hope and practical solutions to an ever increasingly complex world of church administration.
Only 1-2% of typical seminary training covers what normally consumes 40-60% of a pastor's time, which is administration. We have seen pastors come out of seminary ready to lead and preach, yet they are woefully undertrained to deal with the load of administration they will face.
With over a century of experience between them, the authors trust that the insights shared in this handbook/textbook will help and encourage you as you serve in the Kingdom of God. Galatians 6:9
Rodney Harrison is a professor, pastor, and conference speaker. Since 1984 Rodney has been serving the Church with a special love for administration, revitalization, and training pastors to effectively shepherd their flock.
Jeffrey Klick began his ministry as a church administrator in 1981. In 1993, he planted a church and still serves as the senior pastor. Jeff loves both the Word and the administration needed to assure that it can be heard and implemented.
Glenn Miller has served the Church since the mid-1980's as a church administrator, a seminary CFO, a highly awarded university instructor and now president of Miller Management Systems, LLC which has served over 1,000 churches and non-profit organizations with their accounting and administration needs.
