Path to Gold

The manuscript is an elaborate description about the endless joys of the sport of roller figure skating. I want readers to feel like they are skating, themselves. Therefore, I have written it in a fast paced manner.

My name is Debbie Dashner. I am a resident of the Fort Worth-Dallas, Texas area. I received my M. A. in English from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. I have taught English and Latin for most of my professional life. Gradually, I have become a freelance writer for local newspapers. With my fledgling membership in a local children's literature society, I believe that I am about to fullfill my fondest professional dream as I begin to write novels in sports fiction and historical fiction. Path to Gold is my first. Like most of my characters in Path to Gold, my favorite sport is figure skating, and I hope that as my readers read the book they feel like they are skating right along with the characters.
