Path-Light

This book presents the Bible as a trustworthy resource for providing answers to many complex questions and issues of life. The book addresses seventeen fundamental topics that every intelligent person should be aware of. It provides you with a biblical perspective on matters such as God, His government, His law, the greater purpose to life, salvation, faith, love, self-control, starting over, among others. Each chapter of the book is a conversational, non-intimidating guided study that takes you to various passages of Scripture that speak to that particular theme. Rather than forwarding private theories on the topic discussed, the book allows the Bible to speak and be its own interpreter. In so doing, it allows you to see clearly what the Scriptures have to say on the topic being examined, and to come to your own conclusion about an appropriate response. You should find this approach refreshing and non-intimidating, and the book itself informative.

Elvis C. Foster is a computer scientist by training, and a lifelong student of the Bible.  He is a Christian educator who considers his greatest honor and asset as his relationship with Christ. At the tender age of eleven, he gave his heart and life to the cause of Christ. By the time he was age twelve, he was a leader in his local church, as well as at school, where he led many of his previously non-Christian friends to Christ. This passion for sharing Christ grew stronger as he became an adult. As a layman, he has ministered to thousands in various countries including Northern and Southern Caribbean states, Britain, and the United States.

Professionally, Dr. Foster has lectured at the tertiary level in three different countries, including the United States, where he continues to train young minds to be successful computer science professionals. Thanks to his strong Christian principles, his work is driven by an insatiable passion for knowledge discovery and dissemination, and professional excellence.

Dr. Foster has all his life, been involved in outreach ministry. Despite his very demanding professional vocation, he continues to conduct outreach projects under the Friends Ministry nomenclature. This book represents yet another outreach project. However, what makes this one special is that it was prepared especially for you.
