A Path To Light

Why have perceptive, intelligent young people and adults made unhealthy choices---even when they knew better? This book gives a program for creating new pathways for easily recognizing and removing some hidden barriers to know who you and others are, and who you want to be. This aids you in more easily releasing fear, pain, and numbness from memories, and accepting a healthy self-worth, which aid you in making healthy choices. All of these contribute to a high degree of inner peace, which may also benefit your health. Information and techniques are presented to recognize and solve some universal problems---mental/emotional traps ("double binds"). Through this process you know how to be comfortable with healthy comfort.

"The beauty of this approach to emotional pain relief is its simplicity..." Dr. David Baron, Professor and Chair, Department of Psychiatry, Temple University Medical School.

"Not a typical 'How to' book. This is a 'Why not you!' book." Francis Marcolongo, PhD. MFC. STL, SSL.

In 1985, Pain and Stress Consultant Judy Leighton, based on some of her previous discoveries, designed a new stress-reduction methodology to quickly recognize and release interwoven mental/emotional traps (double binds).

The method was soon recognized, and since 1987 with Dr. David Baron, psychiatrist, as consultant, she began demonstrating the method at Medical Centers, and presenting Public Seminars. Presently, he is Professor and Chair of Psychiatry at Temple University Medical School, Philadelphia.

For the past 13 years, as guest consultant, Judy's work benefited people having cancer, heart disease, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, other connective tissue diseases, AIDS, Parkinson's Disease, PTSD, attempted suicides, physical and sex abuse, eating disorders, smoking, drug and alcohol abuse, and learning disabilities. Moreover, the method also benefits those with just problems of everyday life.
