a 2.75 X 4 inch hardcover (1866,c1847) in leather cover boards and a columned spine with title in gold gilt, encased in brass with a decorative lapse, 510 pages with full page illustrations, gold gilt to patterned page decks, end papers are decorated in a floral pattern, FEP has been removed, a few water marks to edges of text.
