About the Author
Mack Newton has become known as "The Champion's Champion" for his work with athletes such as Bo Jackson, Neil Lomax, Jay Novacek, Seth Joyner, Anaeas Williams and Roy Green. He was conditioning coach for the Oakland A's for nine years and the Dallas Cowboys for three years, and continues to serve as consultant for top athletic teams across the nation. As President and CEO of NTKD Rehabilitative Services, Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona, he continues to motivate peak performance in clients from four years of age to eighty. In addition to athletes, Mack coaches people with debilitating arthritis, hip replacement or other joint trauma, and injuries due to surgery or auto accidents. He inspires those who have endured crisis and defeat to empower themselves, to relish life, and realize their dreams.
Michele St. George is an award-winning freelance writer who has published over 150 articles in such magazines as Woman's Day, Mature Outlook, American Health and Entrepreneur. She is also co-author of the book "The Shaman Bulldog," released by Warner Books in 1996.
