The verses in this collection were written during some of the hardest years of my life, when addiction, emotional pain, and the reality of living with a physical disability weighed heavily on daily life. In the middle of that, nature became more than scenery. Coastlines, wind, stillness, and solitude became places where I could breathe, reflect, and begin to make sense of what I was carrying.
