A Pathway Of Poetry

Have you ever longed for words that understand pain without trying to dress it up or explain it away?

A Pathway of Poetry: The Shimmer of the Silver Lining is a deeply personal collection for readers who are drawn to honest emotion, quiet reflection, and poetry shaped by real life rather than imagination.

Written from lived experience, this non fiction poetry collection gives voice to disability, trauma, recovery, isolation, and the search for meaning in the middle of hardship. These are not polished poems written from a distance. They are poems shaped by struggle, reflection, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going.

The verses in this collection were written during some of the hardest years of my life, when addiction, emotional pain, and the reality of living with a physical disability weighed heavily on daily life. In the middle of that, nature became more than scenery. Coastlines, wind, stillness, and solitude became places where I could breathe, reflect, and begin to make sense of what I was carrying.

This book is for readers who want poetry that feels real. It is for those who have known pain, who have felt unseen, or who find comfort in words that come from lived truth. It is also for readers who are moved by the natural world and the way it can hold grief, beauty, silence, and resilience all at once.

Inside these pages, readers will find poetry shaped by:

• Nature and the physical world
• Life with disability
• Trauma, recovery, and emotional survival
• Solitude, reflection, and resilience
• A voice shaped by lived experience

This is not fiction.
These are true poems.
Written from a life lived differently, and lived fully.
