"Sales/posting to the USA suspended". Hard cover dust wrapper, 212pp, b&w plates. A little wear to edges of dw/boards, previous owner's bookplate (Major General R.A. Grey) centre of front fep, inscription by Burrows to former owner on title page; a good copy. Brigadier James Thomas Burrows was a New Zealand teacher, sportsman, administrator, and military leader. Apprpximately 120 pages of this autobiography relate to his military service. He fought in Greece, Crete, North Africa and Italy during WWII, was in command of the Southern Military District between 1955 and 1959, and was commander of New Zealand's K Force in Korea and Japan.
