Synopsis:

A fully comprehensive and extensively illustrated textbook on pattern grading for women's clothes. The grading system demonstrated is unique in that it can be applied to any rational sizing system rather than being tied to one sizing system only. Throughout the book, emphasis is placed on the practical aspects of pattern grading and each subject is developed in a logical and integrated fashion.

About the Author: Since graduating from London College of Fashion, Gerry Cooklin has spent over thirty years in the English and Israeli clothing industries. For the past twelve years he was deputy managing director of the Bagir Group in Israel where he was responsible for technology and development. He is a senior lecturer at the Shenkar College and has also written three text books on clothing technology for the Israeli Ministry of Labour.
