Pattern

What do you see?

Pattern: The Restorative Power of God's Embedded Word is a journey through Scripture, lived experience, faith, family, athletics, failure, and choice-built around the discovery that wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and truth are not isolated ideas. They move in relationship.

Beginning with a simple recurring structure-

START - PRESENT - END - START

-Victor R. Boyd, II traces how that pattern develops into:

WISDOM - KNOWLEDGE - UNDERSTANDING - WISDOM

JESUS - YOU - JESUS

FATHER - SON - HOLY SPIRIT

Along the way, Pattern challenges readers to examine the beliefs, perceptions, experiences, and habits that shape how they respond to life. It asks why knowing Scripture does not always produce confident action, why faith can sometimes feel powerless, and what changes when truth becomes more than information and begins directing choice.

This Foundational Edition preserves the original spiritual journey first published in 2020 while refining its language, clarifying its structure, and revealing more clearly the architecture that was already present within the work.

Years before Architectural Narrative had a name, Pattern was already asking readers to look beneath individual events, recognize recurring relationships, and discover what remains when appearances change.

The Pattern was already there.

The question is whether you will recognize it.

Victor R. Boyd, II is an author, pastor, coach, and creator whose work examines the relationship between Scripture, recognition, choice, and disciplined action. Drawing from ministry, athletics, leadership, family, and lived experience, he invites readers to look beneath isolated events and recognize the recurring structures shaping belief and behavior. Originally published in 2020, PATTERN represents the foundational expression of the work he would later identify as Architectural Narrative.
