Allison Eley is a children's book author, wife, mother, and grandmother who delights in the beauty of simple, meaningful living and the wonder of seeing life through a child's eyes. Her heart is to create stories that bring families together-stories that spark curiosity, nurture gratitude, and gently point little hearts toward the beauty, order, and goodness woven throughout creation, and to the Creator, Himself. Through her Little Learners-Big Creator collection, Allison writes playful, rhyming picture books filled with whimsical alliteration, lyrical rhymes, and thoughtful truths. Each book is designed to be shared aloud-inviting children and the grown-ups who love them to slow down, connect, and marvel together at the world around them. At the center of her work is a desire to encourage meaningful moments between generations and to inspire a lasting legacy of love, kindness, and awe for the Creator's design. When she is not writing, Allison can often be found spending time with her family, sharing life with her community, tending her garden of food, flowers, and herbs, or noticing the quiet, everyday wonders that often become the inspiration for her stories. In Patterns on Purpose, Allison explores the rhythms, repetitions, and designs found throughout creation. Through playful rhymes and detailed illustrations, children discover the beauty of God's intentional patterns while enjoying the challenge of spotting a hidden heart on every page.
