Important monograph and survey of the photography of Paul OIuterbridge, Jr., hailed as "one of most interesting [artists] in the history of American photography. A coleague of Man Ray, Picasso, Duchamp and other 1920s art notable, Outerbridge was a major proponent of cubist abstraction in photogarphy. After 1930 he turned to color photography and embarked on a decades long study of the female nude, often being refused exposure by museun curators and magazine editors.
