The cover says that this book was printed "For Friends". The typed and mimeographed pages show author's typing corrections. Some of these are corrected in pen. The pages are tanned and the front cover has some stains. Stapled book. Stange received his PhD from the University of Wisconsin in 1980 in History and was later a Senior Lecturer in Asian Studies.
