He is the author/editor of six books, including Terror, Terrorism and the Human Condition (2005); the Handbook of Peace and Conflict Studies (2007, co-edited with Johan Galtung), and Peace and Conflict Studies (2002, 2010, co-authored with David P. Barash).
Jorgen Johansen has 30 years' experience as a consultant and trainer in conflict prevention and resolution. He is a lecturer at the Peace and Development Research Institute, Gothenburg University, and at Syracuse University, New York, USA.
