The two neighbouring countries were living normally, as neighbours do, with skirmishes, animosity, and verbal acrimony. In short, things were banal. And then came the plague that changed the dynamics; nothing would ever be normal again! Children were dying for no reason. There was no disease, no virus, no rhyme or reason, yet they were dying in what resembled an epidemic. Was it really an outbreak, planned murrain, a mischievous plot, or a curse?
