Sandra Davis is CEO of MDA Leadership Consulting in Minneapolis, a leadership development, talent assessment, and organizational performance firm she co-founded in 1981. Davis specializes in senior executive talent evaluation, CEO selection, and succession planning, and is widely known as an executive coach and thought leader in the industry, counting numerous Fortune 500 firms among her clients.
She earned her B.S. from Iowa State University and her Ph.D. in counseling psychology with an emphasis in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Minnesota. She is the author of the book, Reinventing Yourself: Life Planning After 50, and has contributed numerous chapters and articles in professional books and journals on topics related to assessment, leadership development, coaching, and succession. She has been elected a fellow of both the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the American Psychological Association. She was named a ''Women Change Maker'' by the Business Journal, and she serves on the boards of multiple non-profits related to her passions for music and serving the poor globally.
In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, exploring diverse cultures, playing classical piano, and improving her mastery of other languages, including Mandarin.
