The Pebbletons Readers: Tug, Tug, Pop!: A Pebbletons Reader, Level 1

Gus has a big red bus, and it is stuck in the mud. He wants to tug it out all by himself. Can he do it?

Tug, Tug, Pop! is a Level 1 reader for ages 4–6. Every word is a short-vowel word children can sound out, like bus, mud, tug and pop, plus a few heart words marked with a little heart.

Your child does the reading, with you right beside them. A Grown-Up Helper tip on every page shows you how to cheer them on.

When Gus gets stuck, he tries four steps every child can use: Stop, take a big breath. Read, look again. Think, what can I do? Speak, ask for help.

Meet the Pebbletons: five letter kids who are each a short vowel, plus Dad, Mommy, Grandma and Pebble the cat. Every kid is one of God's jewels.
