The Peerless Suction Cleaner

16x8.8 cm. Self-wrappers, with small typed price list affixed to front. Light wear, generally very good. Ownership stamp of A. M. Woodworth, a long-time executive with the company. 12 pp. This is an early catalogue of electric vacuum cleaners. It is not entirely clear whether Judd, a manufacturer of metal objects, was fabricating these machines or marketing them for someone else. 2 models are offered with AC or DC electrical motors. These machines are promoted as Exceptionally Light Weight. but weigh 30 pounds. Two other models are offered, at substantially lower cost and weight, that do not appear to have electric motors. There is no explanation of what powers these models, though they are not listed with electrical cords as the other two models are. A very early catalogue of vacuum cleaners designed to be portable.
