Everybody Pees! (Paperback or Softback)

"The perfect potty training lesson ... a fun read for readers of all ages." -The US Review of Books

From the Author of the International Phenomenon EVERYBODY POOPS!

Everybody pees-yes, indeed! It's time to blow the door right off the bathroom, and shine a light on what happens on the loo.

For the little ones just discovering the contents of their diapers and nappies, the bigger ones needing reassurance that the most frequent of their mysterious bodily functions is as natural as can be, and the biggest ones who still hold a fondness for toilet humor, Everybody Pees! is spilling over with bright and brazen illustrations and the truth about who's doing the peeing: every body is doing it!

Sure to incite giggling fits and all-ages laughter, Everybody Pees! exposes one of the least talked about facts we all have in common the world over and among all walks of life, benefiting the youngest of us by opening the discussion, promoting comfort with their bodies, and helping them feel included. Pee pride!

* A great potty-time partner with Potty by Leslie Patricelli and Sesame Street's P is for Potty! by Naomi Kleinberg!

Justine Avery is an award-winning author who loves writing stories for all sorts of readers. She was born in America but grew up-and is still growing up-all over the world as a natural explorer with a curiosity for all things. She's jumped out of airplanes, off of very high bridges, and into shark-infested waters-to name a few adventures. And books are her favorite adventures of all.

"[Avery's] own energetic wonder of what the world can hold for you if you choose to seek it out shines through." --The Children's Book Review

"We're big fans of Justine Avery here at Bookbag Towers. She doesn't overtax the young readers she's creating for and she always puts out a positive message. ... [Avery] has a sunny attitude to the world and all its wonders and which she wants to share with children ... As with all Avery's books for sharing, the text is ... accessible and rhythmic, optimistic, full of sunshine. I defy any parent child combo to come away without a smile on their faces and with a renewed desire to find as many books and stories to enjoy as the day can hold. ... Trademark Avery style which sometimes subverts rigid rhythms but is somehow simultaneously perfect to read aloud ... It is always a pleasure to review a new book by Justine Avery." --The Bookbag

"Avery deftly shifts the popular perception that problems are negative encounters filled with frustration and hopelessness to presenting them as opportunities for children ... To find their personal solutions and way forward." --The US Review of Books

"Perfectly timed. This is something that Justine Avery excels at in her writing. ... Avery connects with her readers ... Avery brings her love for life and adventure to her stories." --Entrada Publishing

"Unexpectedly touching and insightful phrases showing that Avery puts her young audience before the act of simply blurting out a story children might like ... [Avery] has a heart for children and knows they love surprises." --Tammy Ruggles for Readers' Favorite
