About the Author
John Hinnells is Visiting Professor in Religious Studies at the University of Derby. He has edited WHO'S WHO OF RELIGIONS and THE PENGUIN HANDBOOK OF LIVING RELIGIONS, both for Penguin. He is currently working on THE PENGUIN ENCYCLOPEDIA OF ANCIENT RELIGIONS.
