JUST RELEASED: THE SECOND, EXPANDED EDITION OF "PEOPLE GAMES"!
"Man is free the moment he wishes to be".
-Voltaire
In dealing and communicating with other people, we often fall prey to their power plays and mind games. Realize this: We are constantly under siege by the manipulations and machinations of other people. We must learn to see the world as it is rather than how we would like it to if we want to be "free".
PEOPLE GAMES is a non-technical, easy-to-read guide (yes, easier than "Games People Play") to help you recognize when you are being manipulated by others in your social, family, business, or work interactions. We can be free from other people's power plays and mind games if we wish to be, and if we train ourselves to RECOGNIZE them.
A “power play” is a maneuver, usually verbal, that is used by a person to (i) manipulate another person to do something or (ii) avoid giving the other person what they want.
This book will teach you how to RECOGNIZE such power plays being used against you, especially the most commonly used ones by other people, and also how to RESPOND to and DEFLECT such power plays.
You will learn how to extricate yourself from secret ploys, unclear motives, and shady maneuvers used by other people, and structure your interactions so that they are no longer clouded by such undesirable things.
In doing so, you will be able to protect your personal boundaries, move towards more open and honest communication with other people, and protect your own best interests.
Some of the power plays and mind games covered in People Games are:
-Dominance/Submission
-Emotional Blackmail
-You Owe Me
-Playing the Victim
...and more!
NEVER BE MANIPULATED BY OTHER PEOPLE AGAIN!

Min Liu is the author of the book you are reading, the books "The King's Mindset: Twenty Mindsets to Transform Ordinary Men Into Kings", “Vocal Superstar: How to Develop a High Status Voice”, “The New Art of Being Right: 38 Ways to Win an Argument in Today's World”, and “Verbal Self Defense 101”. Based in San Francisco, CA, his mission is to help people not only improve, but become EXCEPTIONAL at social and verbal skills. Everything he knows about these things, he knows from his many different lives as an instructor at UC Berkeley, a nightclub promoter, an international corporate and securities lawyer, and now, an author. He’s passionate about sharing what he has learned from his transformation from a shy, socially awkward kid into someone who has the ability to use verbal and social skills to get and achieve what he wants in life. He believes everybody has the innate ability to make such a transformation by exercising “muscles” that have not been used very much, and by sharpening the skills they already have. He gets especially aroused these days by basketball, kickboxing, meditation, songwriting, reading books on psychology and inspirational people, people who are value givers, and most of all, constantly breaking out of his comfort zone and helping others break out of theirs. On the other hand, he absolutely cannot stand mediocrity, unoriginal and lazy thinking, and he really can’t stand wearing sweaters.
