Frontispiece of the author and full page map of England with olde place names at page 1 of the text. 538 pages including 5 pages of "A Table, comprising the principall Places, Men, and Matters, handeled in this Perambulation." Very good, later edition in hard covers. In original paper covered boards, professionally repaired as to spine; newer tan cloth covered spine with original paper label. Board panels are stained overall and scuffed, edges and corners are rubbed through. External page edges are age- and soil-darkened. Tape residue on end papers, previous owner's name on FFEP. Margin notes in at least two places. Text pages are aged-toned and have a scattering of smudges, stains and foxing. Text block is sound.
