The Perfect Church: Patterns for Every Church Everywhere

Is any church perfect? Good ideas abound, but where’s the scripture? Countless denominations claim to be “scriptural” but can’t agree as to what that is. It was not that way in the beginning. Our presumptions are flawed—we’ve missed some Scripture.

Are we supposed to be gathering in houses as the early church did? How did some Christians get drunk on a sip of wine? Was their Lord's Supper a meal? Why is the word missionary not in the Bible? Those and many other questions are answered in this comprehensive study of the ways of the early church and how they apply to us today.

See from the Scriptures just how church is supposed to be — it's nothing like today’s norm.

Most importantly, the ways of the early church are foundations upon which love may be fully understood and expressed. We’ve been trying to hug one another with one arm tied behind the back.

Anchored in Scripture and well peppered with quotes, this book is easy to read, full of little surprises, practical, life-changing, and a treasure that you’ll want to share with others.

Yes, there is a perfect church. Come and see her.
