PreSchool-K --Pizer takes readers through a day in the life of countryside animals, showing what they enjoy doing and giving their appropriate sound effects. The "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" theme is complete with the repetition of animal sounds and a rebus-style listing of the animals making them. It's a pleasant book, although quite uninspired and with no original twists. The muted illustrations are competent, but lack animation.
