1976 reprint of biography first published in 1937. Meher Baba (1894-1969), an Indian spiritual master, claimed to be his era's Avatar, or god in human form. Varied estimates of the number of his followers, from hundreds of thousands to millions. His teachings are an amalgam of Sufi, Vedic and Yogic spiritual consciousness, the aim for each person to gain consciousness of their own divinity.
