Perfect Peace

Perfect Peace opens with the saga of our spirit's journey from the perfection of Heaven where we are bathed in God's love and peace, into the reality of a fallen world, and the conflict that produces. It moves on to provide snapshots of blessing in action. From there, twenty-two chapters focus on various aspects of peace. The Lord Jesus Christ suffered at the Cross as payment in exchange for our peace. It is that important. Topics include: "Peace that Passes Understanding" which deals with the ability to sleep and with young children's learning to accept things that cannot be changed (such as car rides in car seats!). "Peace in Difficult Relationships" addresses timing, God-pleasing reactions, and hope for difficult relationships that are a part of the human condition. "Peace as a Weapon" is an interesting approach to taking ground and living at peace in the midst of conflict-filled conditions. And, it doesn't stop there! This book, with your investment of time and thought, will grow your spirit in peace. "A book about peace written by someone who grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth would not even get a glance from me. By contrast, Crystal grew up with a generous allotment of difficulties in her world, and she still has a somewhat unstable environment, as most of us do. Since she has found a way to live with internal peace in a non-peaceful world, what she has to say is worth hearing. But this is not a book about her journey, as interesting as that would be. It is a tool to help you on your journey to find peace in your core, in spite of the tumult in your external world." Arthur Burk Anaheim, CA
