Perfecting Love Relationship: The 7 Types of Love

Each year, Reverend Andrew D. Singleton Jr., Senior Pastor of Victory Apostolic Church, along with various other church leaders, facilitates an 8-week to 10-week summer Bible class series based on relevant topics. The primary focus of these classes is centered on: our relationship with God, relationships with immediate and extended family members, and relationships with friends and our fellowman.

Perfecting Love Relationships: The Seven Types of Love is the first book of the summer Bible class series designed to help strengthen the life of any Christian.

Reverend Andrew D. Singleton, Jr. is first and foremost a devoted family man who has given the majority of his life to ministry and serving God s people, whom he loves dearly. Pastor Singleton was saved in 1978, at the Apostolic Church of God (ACOG) in Chicago where Bishop Arthur M. Brazier was the senior pastor. He received his call to the ministry in 1979 and has been preaching since 1980.

Pastor Singleton was ordained in 1989 and later felt the leading of God to start a church in Chicago s south suburbs. In obedience to that call, Victory Apostolic Church (VAC) was formed in August 1996. The church experienced so much growth in the original Chicago Heights, Illinois location that in February 2009, a $20 million, 2,500-seat sanctuary was completed; and the church moved to their new Matteson, Illinois home.

In 15 years, God has blessed Victory to grow from 12 members to greater than 3,000 members and over 70 ministries.

Educationally, Pastor Singleton holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In addition, he is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner. He has also taken classes for five years at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and is a 2002 graduate of the Master of Divinity program at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago.

Professionally, he has held positions as Controller and Vice President of Finance at several community-based social service agencies in Chicago. Pastor Singleton has served his community as the first Chairman of the Vanderpoel Elementary Local School Council. He also has received the Outstanding Young Man of America Award and has been listed in Sterling s Who s Who Directory, Executive Edition.

But most of all, Pastor Andrew D. Singleton Jr., would like to be remembered as a man who loved and served God in addition to cherishing his family!
