Performance and Productivity of Major Infrastructure Projects

The world today continues to develop at an astounding rate, and for industries such as construction, keeping pace with the demands is a significant challenge. To meet these demands, dedicated personnel, academic programs and industry standards have been established. Despite this, the construction industry performs poorly in terms of delivering major infrastructure projects, particularly in emerging markets such as the Middle East. The aim of this Work Based Project was to review the performance and productivity of the construction industry, focusing primarily on major infrastructure projects in the Middle East.
